Retainer
All sessions require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your session fee. The remainder is due on or before the day of your session. If the session is cancelled or rescheduled with at least 7 days notice, the retainer can be applied towards a future session within six months.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I am based in Western Mass and most of my sessions take place within a 30 miles radius. I travel outside of the 30 miles radius for an additional travel fee, which we can discuss at inquiry.
When will my gallery be ready to view? Image Delivery and Printing
Your gallery will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Your images will be delivered in an online gallery where you may select your favorites, download your digital files included with your session and share with family and friends as well as social media. Prints that are included in your session or any additional prints you have ordered will be ready within 2-3 weeks after you have placed your order.
You will receive a print release for your downloaded images included in your session to order prints anywhere, but I can't guarantee the quality. Carla Johnson Photography retains rights to all images and does not provide unedited images for any reason. I may present some images on my website, blog, Facebook, and/or Instagram unless asked not to directly by the client.
What if my kids don't cooperate? How can I make the session go smoothly?
I don't expect kids to “be good” during their session. All kids have a time limit of when they are “done.” We will take breaks and allow them to explore. That is typically when I’m able to capture some genuine smiles and laughter. What you can do is allow your child to be themselves.
Destination Sessions
I am available for travel to capture your family or couples adventure session. Airfare, one night's stay, and car rental fees may apply. Costs can be shared if more than one session is booked (call your friend!) Retainer and travel arrangements will be made at booking.
